2 returnees test positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya

Shillong, June 2: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, on Tuesday informed that the state has recorded two more COVID-19 cases.
“Two more residents of Meghalaya who had returned from Uttar Pradesh have tested positive for COVID19. Both of them are under quarrantine in West Garo Hills District. Total cases: 30 out of which Active cases are: 17,” he tweeted.
All the active COVID-19 cases are of persons who returned from outside the state. Almost 12,000 stranded residents have returned to Meghalaya till date.
