CM chairs review meeting with DCs

TURA, Jun 11: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today chaired the review meeting held at Circuit house Tura in the presence of Adviser to the Chief Minister Thomas A Sangma, Government Chief Whip Marcuise N Marak, Meghalaya Chief Secretary P S Thangkhiew, Additional Chief Secretary, R V Suchiang, Principal Secretary D P Wahlang and other distinguished dignitaries and all the Deputy Commissioners of the 11 districts of Meghalaya.
During the meeting, Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin ) was discussed with the officials of the PHE Department about the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin ) in all the districts of the state.
Further, Increasing Aadhar Coverage through active involvement of Deputy Commissioner s of the district, preparation of the district Survey Reports concerning with the DMR department, presentation on Data Driven Governance (Dashboard ) by DC South West Garo Hills Ram Kumar, Update on Systematic review in the districts and identifying of land for setting up of Growth Hubs (based on entrepreneurship ) at the Block levels.
Mentioning that Deputy Commissioners play a very critical role in coordinating with all the department of the district, the Chief Minister said that this meeting was necessary to find out various challenges faced and make a way forward to deliver better service to the people of the region adding that the districts can perform better when we work as a team .
