Shillong, June 3: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday informed that one returnee from West Garo Hills has recovered from COVID-19.
The patient had returned to the state from Tamil Nadu and was tested positive for the virus on May 19.
“One returnee who was tested positive from West Garo Hills District on the 19th of May has recovered and has tested negative for COVID19. Person had come from Tamil Nadu and has been under quarrantine. Active cases stand at 16 … recovered : 13,” the Chief Minister tweeted.
