COVID: Meghalaya record 35 new cases and 76 recovered from the virus

SHILLONG, Nov 15: Meghalaya on Sunday recorded 35 new COVID-19 cases even as 76 new recoveries were recorded, the Health department informed.

The number of active cases is now 971 and the total recovered cases are now 9594.

East Khasi Hills has the most number of active cases with 298 and Ri-Bhoi is in the second position with 292.

Of the new cases, 26 were recorded in East Khasi Hills, four in West Garo Hills, two in South West Garo Hills and West Khasi Hills and one in North Garo Hills.

Of the 76 new recovered cases, 23 (armed/paramilitary forces two and others 21), 19 in East Khasi Hills, 12 in East Jaintia Hills, 10 in West Jaintia Hills, six in West Garo Hills, three in East Garo Hills, two in South West Garo Hills and one in West Khasi Hills.
