Dy CM Prestone Tynsong tested negative; Health authorities count Bakshi’s as positive case

SHILLONG, Sep 14: The Director of Health Services Dr. Aman Warr today informed that in Raj Bhavan a total of 150 samples have been tested so far, even as he informed that even though the Secretary to the Governor, Pravin Bakshi had tested negative through CBNAAT, the test done by the health authorities by RTCPR wherein he tested positive stands.

It may be mentioned that there are 41cases in the Raj Bhavan even as the Governor Satya Pal Malik tested negative for the virus.

Dr. War also informed that one person in the Chief Minister’s bunglow had tested positive for the virus. So far 70 samples have been tested there.

Moreover, Cabinet Minister, James Sangma, who had tested positive through Rapid Antigen Test at the Imphal Airport on Saturday, has tested positive again through RTCPR in Shillong.

The test reports of Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong which were done both by RT-PCR and CBNAAT came out negative. It may be mentioned that he has accompanied Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma to Delhi last week.

The Chief Minister has also got himself tested but the report of his samples are awaited.
