Ex-min ECB Bamon ‘rejoins’ Congress
Shillong, April 04: Former Meghalaya Agriculture Minister, E C B Bamon joined the Indian National Congress on Thursday.
Congress president, Celestine Lyngdoh, Working President, James Lyngdoh, MLA Shitlang Pale and others welcomed him (Bamon) at the Congress office.
The Congress president hoped that with the rejoining of Bamon, the party will be strengthen in the State in general and the Jaintia Hills region.
Bamon who was also the former CEM of JHADC had left the Congress in 1999 to join the Nationalist Congress Party.
