Govt yet to receive a proposal from KHADC

Shillong, June 30: Meghalaya Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Tuesday informed that the government hasn’t received a formal proposal from the KHADC regarding the plan of the District Council to build a Police Outpost in Langpih.

He said that the government will wait for the formal proposal before taking a decision.

Earlier, KHADC CEM Titosstarwell Chyne said that KHADC’s objective to build a Police Outpost in Langpih was to give security to the citizens of Meghalaya residing in areas bordering Assam.
