Herd of elephants go on rampage in Jalupara village, destroy 9 houses
Tura, July 08: Wild elephants went on a rampage in village of Jalupara under Dalu PS in West Garo Hills on Sunday morning and destroyed nine houses.
A herd of wild elephants created ruckus in the village for more than two hours and later destroyed nine houses, sources said.
The incident occurred at about 1 am this morning and is being closely monitored by the district administration.
