National Games 2022: Host City contract handed to CM

Shillong, March 28: Meghalaya Minister incharge Sports Banteidor Lyngdoh today handed over the National Games 2022 – Host City Contract to Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma in presence of officials of Meghalaya State Olympic Association and officials of Sports Department.

Following the handing over of the Host City Contract, Chief Minister held a brief meeting with the officials to discuss on measures to be taken up by the State to host the National Games in the State.

The Chief Minister said that the National Games 2022 should be taken up with an agenda to facelift the sport infrastructure, build tourism, marketing of the State and development of sports culture in Meghalaya.
