Meghalaya BJP meets Nadda takes up issue of illegalities in district councils

Shillong, Jan 13: The Meghalaya Unit of the BJP on Wednesday evening met national president J. P. Nadda.

According to Meghalaya BJP president, Ernest Mawrie, during the meeting, the state unit informed that discussed the issue of corruption in the autonomous district councils of Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills.

“We also discussed the issue of implementation of Inner Line Permit (ILP) in Meghalaya,” Mawrie said.

The state unit of the president said that at the meeting the party has submitted documents relating to the illegalities in the JHADC and GHADC and illegal coal mining.
