Meghalaya Budget Session to commence from March 8
Shillong, Feb. 19: The Budget Session of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will start from March 8 and will last till March 22.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held today.
On the first day of the budget session 2019-20, the Governor will address the house.
There will be 10 working days.
In the calendar, 8 days have been allotted for government business, and 2 days for private members’ business.
Presentation of the Budget Estimates will be on March 13 and passing of the budget will be taken up on March 22.
