Victory rally turns violent

Shillong, Feb.13: The victory rally of the influential Khasi Student’s Union (KSU) over the Citizenship (Amendment)) Bill turned violent on Wednesday when five persons were assaulted in Rynjah locality of the city.

According to Superintendent of Police (City) Steve A Rynjah a group of persons started attacking persons at Rynjah and RR Colony causing grievous injuries to five of them.

The same group also started pelting stones at shops in the locality.

“Some of those involved have been identified and action will be taken against them,” Rynjah said.

  1. If you have guts then take action ….and make people understand commons people have nothing to do with CAB.
    And who ever pelting stone make them understand the definition of CAB.
    IT is ridiculous some people still live in stone age
