Woman found dead in Umbir
SHILLONG, Jun 6: A woman was found dead in Umbir, Ri-Bhoi district on Thursday, police informed. Police said that the woman’s body was found inside a forest owned by a private individual.
Police said that the neck of the woman was found tied with a plastic rope and tied to tree.
One pair of shoes, black ladies bag containing few articles like knife, nailcutter, homeopathic pills, water bottle, mobile phone and an ID card was found next to the dead body.
