SHILLONG, Nov 15: Women rights and RTI activist, Agnes Kharshiing who was injuerd in a murderous attack a week ago “is now stable and out of danger,” North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences authorities said on Thursday.
According to NEIGRIHMS Public Relationa Officer (PRO) Dr KK Pandita, Kharshiing as on today is doing well and “off ventilator”.
According to DR Pandita, doctors extubated her on November 14.
Kharshiing was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of NEIGRIHMS in an unconscious state on November 8.
After remaining unconscious since the day she was admitted she regained consciousness on November 13.
