Another returnee test +ve for COVID-19, total active case reaches 17

Shillong, June 3: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma revealed that another person who had returned from Uttar Pradesh has tested positive for COVID-19.
Taking to twitter, he wrote, “A resident of Meghalaya who had returned from Agra, Uttar Pradesh has tested positive for COVID19. Person is under quarrantine in Jowai, West Jaintia Hills District. Total positive cases 31; Total Active cases 17; Total Recovered 13; Total Deceased 1.”
Earlier the Chief Minister had informed that a returnee from Tamil Nadu, who had tested positive for the virus, has recovered.
