New football club launched in Meghalaya
Shillong, July 22: The Meghalaya Thunders Football Club has been launched here with a view to play in the Northeast Dorsal league in the coming month in Guwahati.
The new club, launched today, “is an initiative to promote football across the state”, by creating a platform for the budding players across the state, it was announced during the launch function held at the Shillong Press club.
The club owned by renowned businessman Basho Nongmalieh will be managed by its promoter Kamailang Nongmalieh, Banteilang Nongmalieh (CEO), Ranajit Mahanta (Adminstration Manager) and Warren Naronha, (Marketing Head).

It’s a great initiative for the young players from our state, please give a chance to Non-trible also those who are talented, ther are many who plays football but they don’t get a chance in a local Club (Non-trible) from Meghalaya
