PDF announces candidate for Shella by-poll
SHILLONG, Sep 25: The People’s Democratic Front (PDF) has decided to field Mosjo Rockfeller Wanswett for the Shella by-poll.
Mosjo is the younger brother of Leston Wanswett who contested the 2018 general assembly election.
He lost to Late Dr Donkupar Roy by a margin of 370 votes.
When asked about the appeal of the United Democratic Party from the MDA partners not to put up candidates, working president of the PDF, Banteidor Lyngdoh said that the government will still be stable if either the UDP or the PDF wins since they are both in the coalition.
