
Shillong, June 7: Meghalaya confirmed 2 new covid-19 cases on Sunday that takes the total to 36.
The Chief Minister Conrad Sangma informed that two residents returning from Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu has tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday evening.
The two residents are under quarantine in East Khasi Hills, the chief minister informed.
With the inclusion of the 2 new cases, the number of positive cases is at 36 while there are 22 active positive cases, recovered 13 and 1 deceased in the state.
Over 13,000 stranded Meghalaya residents have re-entered the state till date.
